Metatron. One interpretation of Metatron’s name is “one who occupies the throne next to the Divine throne.”
An incredible figure to behold, he appears as an enormous being of brilliant white light. He is the greatest of all the Heavenly hierarchs, highest power of abundance, Chancellor of heaven, King of the Angels. He is charged with the sustenance of mankind. He has been known as the link between the human and the Divine.
Metatron is said to have incarnated as the prophet Enoch. Metatron works as a celestial scribe and record keeper. Call on him to help develop organizational and record keeping skills, and for help in organizing priorities. Metatron is the Supreme angel of death and the teacher of prematurely dead children in paradise. He is also identified as the Liberating Angel.
In certain schools of mysticism, Metatron became known as the Lesser YHWH. In Hebrew these letters stand for the sacred unpronounceable name of God.
